This detailed 21 page PSHE / RSE workbook and fully resourced lesson have been created for the new PSHE / RSE and Health 2020 Statutory Guidance and serve as an introduction to ‘honour’ based violence and ‘honour’ killings. Students will explore whether it is true that most honour killings are down to interpretation of religious texts, or whether culture or misogyny is mostly responsible. They will learn about where victims can go for help and the form ‘honour’ based violence can take. The booklet is differentiated and great for recording progress in PSHE.
